Welcome to the Railway Rooms - a refreshing new group travel Boutique Hostel in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park.
Right on the Kingussie train station platform, the Railway Rooms offers comfortable, characterful, and environmentally friendly self-catering accommodation for groups of up to 24 people.
Developed by team development specialists Wild Thinking, the Railway Rooms will be a great destination for work teams and groups of all sorts wanting a low carbon and exclusive venue to escape to in the Highlands.
CHARACTER & COMFORT
This is your chance to bring your group to a properly characterful new venue. The Railway Rooms is a converted Victorian railway station built in 1893. We are right on the platform with stunning views to the mountains, bright rooms, brilliant beds, and a wood burning stove.

The Station Hall is a fantastic space for group events. With full AV facilities, seating for up to 40, loads of natural light and wood burning stove and adjoining kitchen, this is a great place for all kinds of events.

We are based in one of the best places in the Highlands for outdoor adventures. We will be offering groups exclusive access to the very best canoeing, guided walks, mountain and gravel biking experiences – fully tailored to the needs of your group.

We are currently busy putting the finishing touches to our wonderful new facility and are taking bookings from May 2023.
